FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

AAAW GROUP ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF BRINDLEY PARK
COMPANY EXPANDS HUNTER BEEF’S AUSTRALIAN OPERATIONS

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: October 16, 2016 — Sydney-based agribusiness, AAAW Group is pleased to announce its acquisition of Brindley Park, one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious livestock enterprises located in NSW’s Hunter Valley. The purchase will play an important part in Hunter Beef’s landholding operations and production agenda which comprises Glenrock Station and Kuro Kin Wagyu near Scone, NSW and at Clear Hills in Jerangle, in southern NSW.

Under the management of Ray Osborne, Brindley Park will be responsible for breeding premium Black Angus and F1 Wagyu cattle and backgrounding weaner cattle for AAAW Group’s livestock enterprise.

“The acquisition of Brindley Park is one of strategic value to the company’s paddock-to-plate supply line from Australia to China,” says Michael Wang, Managing Director of AAAW Group.

An established and trusted brand with parent company, Dashang Group’s 100 million Chinese consumers, AAAW Group’s key goal is to look for diverse ways to leverage its organisational performance and quality assurance with new stakeholders. This includes providing Australian stakeholders with exclusive market access to Dashang Group’s extensive paddock-to-plate sales distribution network throughout China.

“Our competitive advantage is our traceable clean and green Australian produce, value proposition and Dashang Group’s large-scale wholesale and retail supply chain, which no other Chinese company can match in Australia,” adds Mr Wang.

The company also seeks to invest long-term capital in Brindley Park’s infrastructure and grazing operations, and implement new measures that have underscored the transformation of Hunter Beef as one of Australia’s premier exporters of quality beef.

“We are committed to the long-term financial viability and environmental sustainability of Brindley Park and its obligation to serve the communities in which our stakeholders live and work,” adds Mr Wang.

The company has also set the agenda to become Australia’s No 1 beef exporter of premium boxed beef and livestock, a direction that will have far-reaching economic benefits across the nation and with the Australian beef industry.
